About Me

Originally from Australia, I’ve been living in France since July 2023. My journey into data is quite unique: I started as an automotive mechanic in 2009, solving complex mechanical problems and often covered in dirt and engine grease. Over time, I realised my problem-solving skills could be applied beyond cars in a much cleaner environment, with slightly less back pain.

In 2016, I completed a Bachelor of Business and moved into corporate roles across sales, supply chain, strategic planning, and recruitment. These experiences gave me a broad business perspective, but my true passion emerged in data-focused roles, where I discovered the power of analytics.

In 2022, I decided to focus 100% on a career in data and commenced a Master’s in Business Analytics to formalise existing skills and build a solid foundation for a career in data.

Today, I’m a data analyst and analytics engineer with expertise in Power BI, Excel, SQL, Cloud, and Python. I hold certifications as a Microsoft Certified Excel Expert, Power BI Associate, Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate, and Fabric Data Engineer Associate, along with a Master’s in Business Analytics.
